Powermark Homes Has Sued This Website

This website was originally located at http://www.PowermarkHomes.Net  but on May 25, 2007 Mark J. Powers, Lisa M. Powers and Powermark Homes, Inc. sued the websites operator for an amount in excess of $25,000.00, punitive damages, costs, interest and attorney fees claiming Defamation, Disparagement and Invasion of Privacy.  Then on June 15, 2007  the attorneys for Powermark Homes filed a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) infringement claim (a claim we dispute) that had PowermarkHomes.Net shut-down.

On July 23, 2007 our attorney Greg A. Beck with the Public Citizen Litigation Group  in Washington D.C. filed a Response to the Powermark Homes Motion  for a Preliminary Injunction. A hearing has been scheduled for August 23, 2007 on this and our other pending motions to dismiss and quash. In the meantime we have put the website back online at this new address. It has a new name, home page and new link on our navigation menu titled "Powermark Homes Lawsuit" which provides links to all of the court documents filed in this case (which are now public record.)  This website and all of the Court Records included on this site speak volumes about Mark & Lisa Powers and Powermark Homes.
Update  on October 8, 2007 Powermark Homes filed a 2nd DMCA Copyright Infringement Claim and had this website shutdown.    CLICK HERE FOR THE DETAILS
